So yesterday, right after school, my mom had our family work at this "soup kitchen" for the poor. But they didn't serve soup there so I don't know why it's called that...haha! So for about 2 hours I was assigned to make fruit salad! There was another girl that came that started talking to me, too. She was my age, so yeah. We mostly cut bananas cuz they were soo muche easier to cut, the oranges were discusting, we also cut apples, and it took us forever to find the pineapples, cantalope, honeydoo, and strawberries! But yea...it was a HUGE bin! It took us forever! Luckily, when we served food, we got to serve cake! But when a ton of people got in line, it was hard because we didn't have each piece cut! so the line got jacked up at our station. Haha! But then we ate some fo the foood after everyone left. My dad and my sister made the P.B.&J and my mom and my brother made the salad. But everything was really good!!! Anyway, after that, we had to clean the tables, and I had to fold like a billion forks into napkins! I'm not kidding there was a huge box full of forks! Haha and then we went to the school's home-coming game:) Then we went home and got In-N-Out! Anyway....that was my day! Cya!
